Camping labelled "Esprit National Park" located in Peisey-Nancroix, Savoie, Haute Tarentaise. Camping open summer and winter - situated at the gateway of the Vanoise National Park in summer and in the heart of the Nordic area in winter. We have 78 pitches in summer and 35 in winter and 9 chalets for 4 to 6 people.

Many hikes from the campsite to discover the alpine flora and fauna, in a preserved site of exception : the Vanoise National Park. Fill up on energy and recharge your batteries surrounded by mountain peaks, mountain streams and mountain lakes. Pure pleasure. In winter, snowshoeing, horse and dog sleds, walks with reindeer, skijoering; these activities will take you into the world of the far north and discover our environment differently. Nestled in the heart of the large Paradiski area between Les Arcs and La Plagne, experience a wide variety of winter sports and we welcome you at the foot of the mystical north face of Bellecote, one of the most beautiful off-site ski routes in the Alps.

Essential visits : Rosuel site and discovery trails, the La Plagne lake, the alpine pastures of Rosset, Paradiski area.

Other visits : the l’Etroit lake, the Mt Pourri glacier, the Aiguille Rouge summit.

The warm welcome that our high alpine valley offers you, as well as the sharing of our values with family or friends tasting our regional products : local cheeses - Beaufort, Tome and honey, or by participating in our traditional local festivals.

The must-see visits : Alpage des Rossets farm , Mielerie le GAEC de l’Alpes, costume and mountain festival in Peisey-Nancroix.

Other visits : costume museum, museum « Refuge Regaud », local cheese co-operative in Bourg Saint Maurice.

Located on the GR5 on the GTA - Grande traversée des Alpes passing through the great alpine passes - on foot, mountain bike, electric mountain bike, road bike, horseback... Discover our mountains differently.

The must-see visits : mountain refuges, Iseran pass, Petit Saint Bernard pass, Italy Aosta valley.

Other visits : Comet de Roseland, Tarentaise Valley.

EXPERIENCE A THRIVING LOCAL CULTURE

The manufacture of the Prince of Gruyère : Beaufort cheese in traditional or innovative farms. In summer, the manufacture of Beaufort cheese is made in chalets situated between 1900m and 2500m altitude. The cattle graze in alpine meadows accompanied by the sound of the alpine bells hanging on the neck of Tarine cows. A ski culture : in the 1920s in Peisey-Nancroix, tourism was started to develop in the Ponthurin Valley, and men made their natural way on skis to move and not to sink in the snow.

Unmissable visits : alpine pastures with cheese tasting at a local farm.

The essential visits : festival to celebrate when the cows come down from the high altitude meadows : Fête de la Démontagnée.

A RICH NATURAL HERITAGE

Cultural escape on the "Paths of the Baroque", the Tarentaise Valley allows you to discover churches and chapels, scattered in the villages and mountains such as the Vernettes chapel.

The essential visits : Chapel Notre Dame des Vernettes (pilgrimage 16 July). Guided tours are organized by FACIM. Must-see visits: guided tours organized by the tourists offices, Museum - Moutiers.

PASTURALISM AT THE HEART OF OUR REGION

Discover the mountain architecture as well as the history of the different hamlets. Locals proud to continue the tradition by wearing period costumes dancing at village festivals.
